Hulk-smashing its way into movie theaters on Nov. 3rd, “Thor: Ragnarok” is out of this world. This third installment of the “Thor” series has redeemed itself in ways that are more than stellar. “Thor: Ragnarok” sparked shocking reviews after the thunderous failure of “Thor: Dark World”, raking in $650.10 million worldwide since its debut. It was rated 93% on Rotten Tomatoes, 8.2/10 on IMDB and 94% by Google users, proving that  “Thor Ragnarok” is taking the world by storm. Intertwining storylines from “Thor: Ragnarok” and “Planet Hulk”, Director Taika Waititi hammers out an electrifying plot, with new characters and a surprising amount of comedy.

This flashy and hilarious film is Hela good, executing eye-catching panoramic visuals and colourful characters with gusto. Each character, old and new, experiences more than one embarrassing moment that makes them more relatable. Dubbed “The Revengers” by Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the film includes the smash-first-ask-questions-later Hulk/Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), hard-drinking bad-ass Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) and fan favorite God of Mischief, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) this motley crew sets off to take back Asgard from the clutches of Hela (Cate Blanchett), the goddess of Death. In addition, the supporting characters such as Doctor Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), the Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum) and everyone’s favorite Stan Lee provide unique and vivid performances that stole the show.

With the success of “Deadpool”, “Spiderman: Homecoming”, “Ant Man” and now “Thor: Ragnarok” it is obvious that humor is the way to go for a successful Marvel movie. With the upcoming movies of “Black Panther” and “Avengers: Infinity War,” it’s time to prepare for whatever calamity may be storming into theaters soon.

Remember to stay through the credits.
