The band Why Don’t We performed a sold out concert in Dallas, March 30  at The Grande Prairie Theatre for their 8 Letters Tour that began mid-March. With three new songs “Big Plans,” “Cold in LA” and “I Don’t Belong in This Club” released just before the tour began, a new and unique experience was added as the up and coming boy band performed.

The concert started with opening acts that have a fresh solo artist with a free spirit vibe like Brynn Elliott and Eben who has been opening for Why Don’t We since the band was going on smaller tours around the U.S. They helped to hype up the crowd and boost the crowd for the main event. The five guys named Daniel Seavey, Jack Avery, Zach Herron, Corbyn Besson and Jonah Marais who have taken the the world by storm came bouncing on the stage and the crowd went absolutely crazy.

This has been the most incredible and lively concert I have ever been to and the atmosphere of the fans created a  positive experience that normal concerts wouldn’t really include. The “Limelights,” Why Don’t We’s fanbase name, were matching up to One Direction’s “Directioners” in every way with pride for the young band that quite literally shook the entire theatre.

Why Don’t We interacted with the crowd and showed how much love and support they owed their fans by highlighting the songs that drove their popularity like “These Girls” and their opening tour song “Trust Fund Baby,” which was written for them by Ed Sheeran.

The band was established Nov. 27 of 2016 producing their first song a week later called “Taking You” which Why Don’t We sang as thank you to their fans. The Limelights have followed them from the very beginning, falling in love with their contagious positive attitudes that made their first album tour so amazing.

The way the theatre was set up allowed for everyone to have a perfect view of the boys and it was just the right size for everyone to have an amazing experience. The only thing that was a slight problem was the fact that the merchandise line was not really a line but more like a blob of fans that filled the entire theatre lobby with a bit too much chaos.

This is an experience that I will never forget and I highly recommend that people check out Why Don’t We and listen to a few of their songs, they are such an enjoyable group of guys that love to make others happy, which is what their whole tour is all about.
