Hello! My name is Kathryn Burkhart and I am a Junior and the Managing Print Editor for Santa Fe Ruff Draft. I won first place for the editorial cartoon in both district 1 and all categories for on-deadline. I enjoy writing as well as illustrating, music, and other arts. History is also very interesting and I study it outside of school. I play the viola in the philharmonic orchestra at Santa Fe and love many classical composers such as Tchaikovsky, Holst, and Mozart. I often travel to Colorado and camp there in the summertime. On the weekends, I usually volunteer at Pet Angels Rescue, helping dogs find their forever homes.
