Skywalker Saga is one of the best LEGO games of its time.

The “Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga” video game has been released by Warner Bros. on April 5 and has been receiving tons of praise from every Star Wars fan, selling 3.2 million copies in two weeks. This game is potentially one of the best “Star Wars” video games ever made in the series.

The player can play through the adventures of Anakin Skywalker, Luke Skywalker, and Rey Skywalker to fight some of the biggest villains in the galaxy. They can play over 400 charaters in this game in free mode and replay many scenes from the franchise. When the player plays as an character in an episode, it follows the episodes plot really well.

The whole story mode takes around 15-20 hours, which is shorter than most games today. Usually games can take about 20 to 50 hours of gameplay time. To be a completionist of the game, it will take 75-90 hours to complete.

Unlike other LEGO games “The Skywalker Saga” includes an over-the-shoulder third-person viewpoint and a smoother playing experience. This game also introduces combo attacks to easily take care of enemies A combo attack is a multiple of consecutive attacks on an enemy. However one of the strangest mechanics is to breaking LEGO structures and then turning them into cover to hide behind of. The player doesn’t technically need the cover and can play it like a run & gun. (A run & gun is where they can shoot at the enemies while they continuously move up towards them)

The player can do tons of other battles that are to collect that end up becoming too repetitive in some sections of the levels. The gameplay hasn’t changed too much, but the combat has improved a lot and is a better experience for new and old players by making it easier to play and enjoyable to play.

They did try some new things with this game, and it has elevated the game with excellent combat and visuals.

But the game is just another LEGO game that mimics a piece of media that is popular with people. This is now the seventh “Star Wars” game in the LEGO franchise. The game series has been running since 2006 and isn’t changing too much with the design and how the game’s basic mechanics of playing. It’s great for the LEGO series, but not for gaming itself. Other games have been improving in every single sequel or update to make the experience different and enjoyable. The LEGO games have been using the same graphics since they started making games.

If fans were excited to play the new game, then this video game is for them. But if they are just wanting to play it for a casual experience, maybe reconsider. It’s not for everyone but only for those who really enjoy the “Star Wars” franchise.
