Chick-fil-a is arguably one of the most famous fast-food chains in the world. And the classic chicken company took a big leap to offer mac and cheese, and it definitely lives up to the chain’s reputation.

Their large mac and cheese costs $3.04, with 440 calories, 29 grams of carbs and 19 grams of protein. This mac and cheese is almost half the price of Panera Bread’s, making it more affordable. Panera’s small mac and cheese costs $5.69, and has 470 calories, 33 grams of carbs and 17 grams of protein. They are both very popular, and many people enjoy both. When I think about buying mac and cheese from a fast-food place, I think of these two stores.

Macaroni and cheese from Chick-fil-a is cheesy and soft, but not too creamy. The moment the food hits their tongue people begin to smile, and the perfect scent makes them even more excited to eat it. There is also extra cheese layered on the top, adding to the flavor.

The last side Chick-fil-a had come out with was the Superfood Side in 2016. Their current lineup had been focused on chicken, and things that come to mind to eat with it. But, with the new mac and cheese, who knows what else they have up their sleeve for the future.

Mac and cheese wasn’t expected from Chick-fil-a by many, but they tested it at about five of their locations before release. Of course, they received very good results, and decided to release it throughout the whole chain.

This new meal is a great after-school snack, or even dinner. I’d say Chick-fil-a’s newest addition to the menu was a success.
